Inspired by the words of multi "king of the mountains’” winner Richard Virenque. My intent was to create an image which would highlight the courage, strength and conviction of the professional climber. 
The words read “Climbers suffer the same as the other riders, but they suffer in a different way. You feel the pain but you’re glad to be there” – Richard Virenque.
